Dr. Alex uses an UltraPulse CO2 laser to treat facial wrinkles, sun damaged skin, and scars. The procedure is performed using a topical anesthetic or mild sedation depending on how deep the lasers need to go. Laser light is a modern marvel that allows Dr. Alex to work at very precise and controlled depths, providing safe and predictable results.

Laser skin resurfacing leaves a person with a younger looking appearance. It is particularly beneficial for taking care of skin imperfections around the eyes and mouth. Acne scars and tiny wrinkles are reduced as the laser blasts away the outermost layers of skin around the blemishes to a precise 4-5 cells in thickness. Discoloration of the skin (at first red and then light pink) is usually gone in about a month.
